According to a report published in The Times of India (TOI), the victim, Lalita Yadav, a resident of Vipul Khand, went for her morning walk on Tuesday but was stopped by a man near the Brahma Kumari center. Claiming to be a police officer, the man arrested her and showed her a photo claiming that a woman had been killed in the locality. she added that she broke the rules while walking around when a murder took place in the locality. In addition, he told her that she would be penalized for her actions and that she would have to pay Rs 5,000 as a fine.
The old lady fell into the lure and believed the man. Afraid and anxious, she even requested him to speak to her son as she had no cash together with her to pay the fine, TOI discovered in its report. in an exceedingly panic state, the old woman sat on the ground feeling dizzy. this is often once she felt that he achieved her gold chain and 2 gold rings, when that the defendant fled from the spot.
Meanwhile, her son Ajeet Yadav has lodged a complaint with the police concerning the incident.
