Lok Sabha Election Update: 60% Voter Turnout by 5 PM, Last Voting Day For Karnataka
BJP's strongholds in the Hindi heartland belt of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh are participating in the elections.

By 5 p.m., 60% of voters had voted in Karnataka's Lok Sabha election.
Lok Sabha Election Update: The third phase of the Lok Sabha election is slowly coming to an end. Over 1,500 voters participated in the third phase in 93 constituencies in 11 states and union territories.
A large number of prominent political leaders voted on Tuesday, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, NCP leader Ajit Pawar, and NCP-SP leaders Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule.

As of 5 p.m., 60% of voters had turned out across 11 states and union territories.
There are 26 seats in Gujarat, 14 in Karnataka, 11 in Maharashtra, 10 in Uttar Pradesh, 8 in Madhya Pradesh, 7 in Chhattisgarh, 5 in Bihar, 4 in Assam, 4 in West Bengal, 2 in Goa and 2 in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in the third phase.
Additionally, it will be the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka since the south part of the state, including Bengaluru, already concluded on April 26.
There are several big wigs from Congress and BJP contesting from northern Karnataka, which is up for election today.
There will be seven phases of Lok Sabha elections, from April 19 to June 1, the counting will take place on June 4.
