Lok Sabha Election 2024 LIVE: On Today, May 25 Phase 6 of Lok Sabha Election 2024 has finally started in 58 constituencies over 6 states and two union territories. After the Phase 6 election, it will mark the completion of 486 seats out of 543 of the Lok Sabha seats.

On May 25, the Lok Sabha Election will be conducted across four seats in Jharkhand, 1 seat in Jammu and Kashmir, 8 seats in Bihar and West Bengal, 6 seats in Odhisha, 7 seats in Delhi, 10 seats in Haryana and 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Due to a heatwave in north India, the Election Commission has asked poll workers and other officials to do what they need to do to reduce the effects of rising temperatures in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

The polling day has already begun at 7 am and will end at 6 pm and will feature 889 candidates among which key candidates are Rao Inderjit Singh (BJP), Dharmendra Pradhan (BJP), Manohar Lal Khattar (BJP), Mehbooba Mufti (PDP), Maneka Gandhi (BJP), Kanhaiya Kumar (Congress), Abhijit Gangopadhyay (BJP), Naveen Jindal (BJP) and Manoj Tiwari (BJP).

Till 9 am a total of 10.82% voters turnout among which Delhi recorded 8.94%, Uttar Pradesh recorded 12.33 %, Haryana recorded 8.31 %, Jharkhand recorded 11.74 %, Bihar 9.66 %, Jammu and Khasmir 8.89%, Odisha recorded the lowest percent of votes 7.43 % and West Bengal recorded the highest number of votes 16.54 %.

Among the votes, some recognizable voters were Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Cricketer Kapil Dev, Mahavir Singh Phogat, CM Naveen Patnaik, Ram Nath, MP Swati Maliwal, President Droupadi Murmu, Sujata Karthikeyan, India Cricketer Gautam Gambhir and many other cast their votes till now.

The first stage started on April 19, and the others were on April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20. The current stage is the phase 6, and it will end on June 1. There the counting of votes will begin from June 4.
