Shiv Kumar Gautam, the chief shooter in the Baba Siddique murder case, has revealed to the police in Mumbai that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had planned to kill either the NCP leader or his son Zeeshan.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang: Shiv Kumar Gautam, the chief shooter in the Baba Siddique murder case, has revealed to the police in Mumbai that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had planned to kill either the NCP leader or his son Zeeshan, as per a report by News18.
The police were also told by Gautam that it was Bishnoi’s gang that decided whom to kill, and he was just told to do so. He further admitted that along with two others accused, they did a thorough reconnaissance of the daily routine and movements of the NCP leader in Mumbai prior to the execution of their plans.
On October 12, the gang killed Siddique, taking advantage of the festive mood in the city. Loaded with a gun, he went to shoot at Siddique and after he was done, Gautam disguised himself and blended with the crowd. He also kept an eye on the happenings at the scene for quite some time so as not to attract any attention with his report.

When he finished his task by killing Siddique, Gautam took an auto rickshaw to the Kurla station where he travelled to Thane by a local train. He then took a train to the city of Pune and on the way to throw off the authorities he disposed off his sim card.
After staying in Pune for a week, Gautam then boarded a train to Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. He spent five days in Jhansi before making his way to Lucknow, from where he bought a fresh phone to reach out to his contacts.
The accused was also in Lucknow for 11 days calculating his time for another trip to Bahraich. He had his friends organize a safe house for him in a village close to where he planned to stay in Bahraich. Gautam intended to go to Vaishno Devi temple prior to escaping out of the country to Nepal, but this was not to be as he was arrested by the UP STF in Bahraich.

The hard-core criminals are Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava, and Akhilesh Pratap Singh.
The suspects arrested for killing Baba Siddique were also involved in a contingency plan made by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Gaurav Vilas Apune, also known as a shooter, was apprehended last week on Friday and was provided weapons and sent to practice firing in Jharkhand in late July. He was also active as a shooter for Plan B.
Mumbai Crime Branch’s investigation brings out that one more person accompanied him, Rupesh Mohol who was already in custody of Mumbai police. Such arrangements had been made by Shubham Lonkar who was the brain behind the murder. Both had a practice shoot for one day in Jharkhand and then went back to Pune to contact Lonkar before going back to Pune.
