Lathi charge on BPSC candidates, protesting against change in exam pattern
On one hand, BPSC issued the notification on Tuesday, while on the other hand, thousands of candidates are protesting outside the BPSC office due to the change in the exam pattern. Their demands are that no change should be made in the notification which was issued during the filling of the form.

In Patna today, the police had to lathi-charge the candidates of the Bihar Public Service Commission when they were adamant on going to the commission's office. Actually, all of them are opposing the new model in the examination of the Public Service Commission. There was a movement of candidates outside the BPSC office and are protesting against the change in the exam pattern. They have demanded to conduct the exam on the same day and in the same shift. The notification of BPSC's 67th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination has been issued. Despite the opposition of the candidate appearing in the examination, the Bihar Public Service Commission has made it clear that the preliminary examination will be taken for two days.

The information was released that the 67th BPSC Combined Preliminary Examination for 804 posts will be held on 20 and 22 September. The result will come on the basis of percentile system. The admit cards of the candidates will be uploaded on the website of the commission a week before the exam i.e. by 13th September. First BPSC has implemented percentile system. Candidates will be given one hour before the exam center.
