To pay tribute to the great singer Lata Mangeshkar on her 93rd birth anniversary, a 14-tonne and 40-foot veena statue has been installed at a major crossroads in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi will virtual inaugurate this chowk today. Along with this, CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Tourism Minister will participate in this program. Let us tell you that today Swar Kokila is also the birth anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar. Along with this, cultural program will also be organized in Ram Katha Park. In this an exhibition based on the life of Lata Mangeshkar will be staged. On this occasion, the great saint Mahant and public representatives have also been invited by the district administration. Guests can do darshan worship at Hanumangarhi and Ramjanmabhoomi.

Born in 1929, Lata Mangeshkar died on 6 February this year in a hospital in Mumbai. He has won three National Awards for 'Parichay', 'Kora Kagaz' and 'Lekin'. One of his most iconic songs is the patriotic song Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon.
