Lakme Fashion Week 2022: For Manish Malhotra’s latest Collection, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Shanaya Kapoor strut fire on the Runway

In the latest edition of the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week, Manish Malhotra's “Diffuse Collection” was one of the most anticipated ones. As always Malhotra’s collection was laden with celebrities, both on and off the runway. On the runway, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Shanaya Kapoor served as the Show Stoppers for the Collection. It was both Siddhant’s and Shanaya’s ramp debut and they both served the ramp. This year too, “Bollywood” dominated the “Show Stoppers” tag. Bollywood actress Jhanvi Kapoor was amongst the ones sitting in the audience, who was a showstopper for the designer Punit Balana.

Shanaya’s body-hugging ensemble had sequins embossed and doing justice to the name of the collection all the shades diffused into one another. The color palette even though different appeared as if it was all in one. To accentuate the drama, on the gown there existed a cutout detail above her waist.

Siddhant Chaturvedi shattered the typical Fashion Norms for men by wearing an overly printed ensemble. The palette in this year’s Manish Malhotra collection was dark in contrast. Chaturvedi wore a minimal black shirt, printed pants, and a printed overcoat thus oozing out the drama. Do we need more Siddhant on the runway, Yes Please?
