North Korea Chief Kim Jong Un's sister Kim Yo Jong has openly threatened South Korea that North Korea will not hesitate to launch a nuclear attack against it if it adopts the path of military confrontation. According to North Korea's Central News Agency, Jong has said that if there is a military confrontation with South Korea, North Korea will allow its nuclear force to perform its duty. Jong is the deputy director of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee.
North Korea conducted several missile tests in January and March this year. This also includes the test of a long-range inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM). Earlier in the year 2017, North Korea had conducted several missile tests at some intervals, due to which there was an atmosphere of tension throughout the Korean Peninsula. Recently, a picture of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un became quite viral in which he was seen with a missile.
Former US President Donald Trump had talked to Kim Jong Un more than twice and met more than four times in an attempt to build friendly relations with North Korea. However, even after the meeting between these two leaders, no result could be reached. North Korea demanded that the sanctions on it should be lifted.
