Sridevi, an iconic Indian actress, worked across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Regarded as the “first female superstar” of Indian cinema, she received numerous awards, including a National Film Award.
In their 50 years of career, Sridevi tested the waters in every genre and excelled. She led an isolated, reclusive life, unlike her career when she bravely tamed the strong-willed ladies in her films. Sridevi was bestowed with the Padma Sri by the Government of India in 2013. As far as I can feel, actresses add more on their insecurities related to the person next to them than they set themselves apart from each other. There is no need to crisscross all the actors against each other, for, they are all good at different things. Everyone has their own space. I'm sure other actresses are able to perform certain things a whole lot better than me, and I, too, have some things that I can do. Just get settled down with oneself not to think of such things and have belief in oneself.
Loveyapa, produced by Advait Chandan, stars Khushi and Junaid Khan, besides Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda. The movie releases in theaters on February 7.
