Just like the rest of the nation, Kerela is also witnessing a huge rise in the Covid numbers. On January 1, the number of cases in Kerela was 2,345 and had 169 hospitalizations. However, in the last 24 hours, the state has witnessed approximately 34,000 cases and 1094 admissions in the hospital.
Apart from this, the occupancy on Oxygen beds has also seen a massive rise with which is by 52%. Kerala Health Minister Veena George urged the people to strictly follow Covid protocol and abide by all instructions given by the government.
