Kejriwal government set a target of providing 20 lakh jobs in Delhi

A meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In this the budget was discussed in detail. Then came the news that the government has set a target of providing jobs to 20 lakh people in the next five years. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have also officially tweeted about this.

It is believed that there is also pressure on the government from the youth. Employment has become a big issue. Officials said that in the meeting, targets and time-frames have been fixed for each department with a view to providing 20 lakh jobs in the next five years.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also attended the meeting with officials of all concerned departments. The meeting took place at 11 am. Manish Sisodia said after the meeting, “Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting to review the details of ongoing and new programs in the employment budget and to expedite their implementation. Under his leadership, the Delhi government is committed to creating 20 lakh jobs in the next five years.
