Kashmiri driver returns gold worth 10 lakh to tourist in Pahalgam

An honest taxi driver on Tuesday returned gold worth Rs 10 lakh to a tourist in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam resort. Akash Farooq Wani, a taxi driver at the tourist resort, has returned gold worth Rs 10 lakh to a tourist from Hyderabad, said the chairman of the Pahalgam taxi stand.
He told, "The tourist had forgotten the bag full of gold in the taxi. The tourist informed the chairman of the taxi stand that he had forgotten the gold in the taxi which he had hired from the stand. When we informed the driver, he Searched my taxi and found the bag which was returned to the tourist." The chairman of the taxi stand said, "The tourist had come back from Srinagar airport when he remembered that he had forgotten the bag in the vehicle. He has thanked the taxi driver."
