Kashmir Under Tight Watch as Hundreds Detained by Security Forces After Pahalgam Terror Attack
Following the Pahalgam terror attack, anti-terrorist operations were conducted by the Security Forces across the southern regions of Kashmir.

Kashmir Under Tight Watch: After the terrorist attack that left 26 tourists dead in Pahalgam, the security forces detained more than 250 persons from south Kashmir for questioning on Wednesday.
The Jammu and Kashmir police sources further indicated that 1,500+ overground workers and people who have had records of being involved in terror activities and who have FIRs registered against them are being detained all over the Kashmir Valley right from the day of Pahalgam.

Terrorists from the LeT-linkedTRF fired indiscriminately at tourists in Pahalgam's Baisaran, killing 26 of them, including foreigners.
Counter-terror operations surged Wednesday in southern Kashmir since morning. Security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the LoC in Uri Nala and have begun operations in Kulgam and Tangimarg to nab the terrorists.

Defense sources say that an intelligence assessment indicates 42 terror launchpads across the Line of Control are being occupied currently by about 110 to 130 militants. Of these, 10 launchpads are against sectors along Kashmir, while 32 are against the SPPR region.
Police also arrested two terror associates in Bandipora, recovering arms and ammunition.
