Karwa Chauth 2021, Check when will the moon be visible in your city tonight ?
Married women keep an anhydrous fast since the morning and pray for the long life of their beloved husband, and an ecstatic married life.

For married women in India, Karwa Chauth, the most grand celebration is tonight. According to the Hindu Calender, on the fourth day of the “Kartika maasam”, this auspicious festival is celebrated. This usually overlaps with the October-November month. This day, married women keep an anhydrous fast since the morning and pray for the long life of their beloved husband, and an ecstatic married life. They open their fast in the evening after seeing the moon and offering prayers. It is believed that by watching the moon that day and offering milk and water to the moon, married women are blessed with a long life of their husbands. Women who celebrate wait the whole day for the moon to appear so they could offer their worship and get blessings.
