Kartik Aaryan Receives Engineering Degree After Over a Decade: A decade ago, recently Kartik Aaryan received the degree during convocation function of DY Patil University, Mumbai. Actor posted snippets of breezy moments on his Instagram account on Saturday from the event where he is dancing and enjoying with college students while nostalgic about college life.

Kartik gets his degree

Then, on that Saturday, he went on Instagram and posted a video of the outing.

“From sitting in the backbench to standing on the stage for my convocation - what a journey it’s been,” Kartik wrote alongside the video.

He added, “DY Patil University, you gave me memories, dreams, and now, finally, my degree (only took over a decade!). Thank you, Vijay Patil Sir, my incredible teachers, and the young dreamers here for all the love- this feels like coming home”.

Kartik is adorning a unique college jersey jacket that contains his name in bright bold letters above a sea of students who could be pumped to listen to him address them in a busy auditorium: "And not very altruistically, I would like to say, welcome dear students!" The grand finale of the event occurred when Kartik danced on the stage, just like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's title track.

The clip shows how Kartik returns to the campus with thunderous applause and cheers. He walks through the campus and then warmly interacts with his teachers, reminiscing about the old times. The scene ends with Kartik signing the college board, making it memorable in his visit.

“I am just too excited and happy to be here,” he is seen saying in the clip.

The video then shows several endearing moments of Kartik's visit to college. He is seen sharing with the public, beaming with happiness, pouring admiration and love on him. There was a gift presented to him, and he graciously accepts it. In an emotional moment, a girl fan broke down in tears while standing before him to show her overwhelming excitement.

Reminiscencing his college days, Kartik continues to get nostalgic, like once when he pointed out of a car during a fond memory, "I used to put water here, just like a water boy."

Kartik went directly from undergrad engineering to Bollywood with Luv Ranjan's Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011.

Upcoming projects starring Kartik

Kartik reveled in a magnificent 2023 with Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, that has now made way for him giving a whole new look with long tresses resembling a rugged bearded man, and leaving fans rapt in amazement on whether it's going to be his look for an upcoming untitled big-budget musical love story by Anurag Basu.

The actor began filming for the project a year ago, but has been tight-lipped about the role or story pertaining to the film. The film also stars Tripti Dimrii among others. Earlier in the month, Kartik announced that he would be leading an upcoming movie by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

He was recently seen in Anees Bazmee's horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which had a smashing success at the box office. He resumed his role of ghostbuster Rooh Baba from the blockbuster sequel released in 2022. Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav also featured in the film, which earned over ₹250 crores at the Indian box office.
