Kareena Kapoor’s Favorite Comfort Food Revealed: Much like the book launch function of Rujuta Diwekar recently in Mumbai, Kareena Kapoor is overjoyed, as she did not mind attending the event for an entire day of khichdi. At the event, she had a chance to interact with the actor on his undying love for the popular Indian rice dish.

The Instagram post shared by the paparazzi page had it that Kareena states: “My comfort food, like if I don’t eat khichdi for two or three days, I actually start craving it!” Khichdi is a dish found in South Asian cuisine made from combining rice and lentils (dal) and can be varied in number.

Kareena laughed and went on to add, “I will message her [Rujuta] and say there is no khichdi in the house I can’t sleep if I don’t eat khichdi. Like you said that you need a drink but honestly, I can’t survive without khichdi!”

On Monday afternoon, Kareena and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, hosted a grand lunch to celebrate Eid with family. One of the pictures of them posted by Saif's sister, Saba Pataudi, reads, "Family matters most." This Eid is especially meaningful for Saif this time, as it is the first time for him to be with family since he got stabbed inside his house in January and had to go through multiple surgeries following the incident.

The Vivienne Westwood show in Mumbai Tuesday evening also flaunted the presence of the actor. Posing for snaps beside a dazzling thigh-high slit red gown, she was looking as gorgeous as ever.

Kareena will feature in three projects in 2024, which include Crew, The Buckingham Murders, and Singham Again. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this last feature included stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone as the lead cast. She works next with the Raazi director, Meghna Gulzar.
