Kanwar Yatra 2022: Dalmia Group made this special arrangement in Deoghar's Shravani Mela
During the Shravani Mela, DBL is renewing its social commitment with initiatives like Salute to Experts. In sync with the social heroes of Deoghar, the company has enhanced the esteem of the local heroes by conferring the newly instituted Jai Kanwar Award to the Eastern Region with the benefit of subject specific proficiency like Dalmia DSP - Casting Specialist.
Dalmia Bharat Limited is strengthening its regional presence by participating in the restored Deoghar Shravani Mela. Respecting the indomitable spirit of Kanwar, the company has initiated many social change initiatives like Jai Kanwar Award and promotion of education.
Mr. Mayank Rai, Mrs. Sania Suman and Mr. Kumar Gaurav, who contributed to the community efforts by showing indomitable patience and proficiency in their field of expertise, were honored during the award ceremony. The company has demonstrated its strong local presence in the upcoming edition of the festival by installing two kanwars and 16 feet high idols of Lord Shiva to welcome the devotees visiting the fair. Officially inaugurated by DBL's Senior Executives and Channel Partners, it includes a lively colossal statue as well as a specially designed gate at Debargram from where Lord Shiva's darshan from all over India and the world is coming and sacred. A bird's eye view of the devotees offering water will be seen. Apart from this, other innovative establishments have been established in Chakai, Chopa Mor and Basukinath of Deoghar city.
In addition to the above initiatives, the company will felicitate its top 20 contractors along with their families in a special program at Deoghar. Along with this, the organization will also provide school kits including school bags etc to the children of these contractors as part of the campaign to encourage education in this area.
