'Join India Yatra From Kashmir To Kanyakumari', Announces Sonia Gandhi In Udaipur's Chintan Shivir
Congress Veteran announced so after Rahul Gandhi thrashed the ruling party at the Nav Sankalp Shivir in Udaipur.
Addressing the Congress's Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi announced that the Bharat Jodo Yatra will start from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on behalf of the party. Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi said that we will start the 'National Kanyakumari to Kashmir India Couples Yatra' on October 2, on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. All youth and all leaders will take part in this yatra. At the end of her short address, Sonia Gandhi asserted thrice that "we will win, we will win, we will win - this is our resolve, this is our resolve." Said that on the last day of this session I felt that I had spent an evening with my family.
Earlier, in his address, Rahul Gandhi attacked the Modi government at the Center fiercely. He said that our responsibility is to save the ideology. We have to go to the people. Rahul Gandhi said that we should sit among the people without thinking and understand what is their problem, the connection we had with the public will have to be made again. People know that only the Congress party can take the country forward.
He said, "I want to tell all Congress workers & leaders that you don't need to be scared. This country believes in truth. I'm with you for the rest of my life. And I'm going to fight this fight with you. We have to revive our connection with people & need to accept that it was broken down. We will strengthen it, This will not happen with any short-cut, it requires hard work."
