Jharkhand News: After IIT Dhanbad, now body of student found hanging in IIM Ranchi hostel

In IIT Dhanbad two students have been hanged within a month and a half. Hanging of a student in IIT Dhanbad Not even two days had passed that the news of hanging of an IIM student came. Police has recovered the body of a student named Shivam Pandey from the hostel of IIM Ranchi. Police has sent the dead body to RIMS for postmortem. The police have informed the family members of the student. Police say that Shivam had gone to his room on Monday evening. When he did not come out till late night, his friends went to him. The students saw Shivam hanging from the noose. The students informed the police about this.

The student was brought down by cutting the noose but by then he had died. Both the hands of the student were tied with a rope. The police is probing the matter on both the points of murder and suicide. Police say that the student's mobile details are being investigated. Pundag police and Nagdi police are probing the matter. The CCTV footage installed in the hostel is also being scrutinised. After the post mortem report comes, it will be clear how the student died.
