Jharkhand's Anita Kumari has paved the way to the list of 33 for the national coaching camp at Jamshedpur

Jharkhand: In a major win for the Sports across Rural India, Anita Kumari, from Chari village in Ranchi district of Jharkhand, makes it to the list of 33 for the national coaching camp at Jamshedpur for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup team. The Twitter handle of the ANI shared visuals from Anita’s home.
Her sister, Vinita says, "I'm proud. She faced many hardships. We had just 'maand bhaat'. Her parents, Asha Devi and Puran Mahto say, "We somehow manage to make both ends meet. It feels great that she has been selected. A poor daughter is making progress. I didn't even know that girls play football, I thought only boys did that. This is all by God's blessings.
Anita's coach, Anand Gope says, "I trained several girls but Anita had a different enthusiasm. She was very focused. I feel very proud. There are several more poor girls like Anita. If Jharkhand Govt Sports Ministry support, several more Anita will be prepared to make India proud"
