Jennifer Lopez Breakup Drove Diddy to Therapy: 'I've Been Called Bipolar'
Jennifer Lopez Breakup: The federal government is investigating his previous behavior, accusing him of throwing "freak off" parties, but his relationships with other Hollywood celebrities have also drawn notice.

Jennifer Lopez Breakup: Jennifer Lopez was in the news until September of this year because of her split from Ben Affleck, her failed comeback, and her postponed tour.
But the focus returned to Lopez's previous relationship with the disgraced rapper soon after recording mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was jailed.
The public is still fascinated by the intensity of their brief romance even though they haven't been romantically involved for more than 20 years.
Diddy candidly revealed in a recently rediscovered Playboy interview how his relationship with the singer influenced his choice to seek therapy, which led to significant mood swings.
Diddy has already had three bail requests denied and is currently awaiting trial in 2025 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other sexual assault crimes.
The federal government is investigating his previous behavior, accusing him of throwing "freak off" parties, but his relationships with other Hollywood celebrities have also drawn notice.
Diddy and Jennifer Lopez were dubbed the "golden couple" for their brief affair from 1999 to 2001, but it also led to a significant scandal that will go down in Hollywood history, including the notorious club shooting.
Diddy talked candidly about his relationships in a previous interview, including his romance with Lopez, and disclosed that their split was a major factor in his decision to seek therapy.

He clarified that treatment assisted him in managing his emotional difficulties in relationships as well as personal catastrophes.
He added, "I've been called bipolar – I'm not; I just have very drastic mood swings. I went to therapy when B.I.G. died, but a lot of my therapy has been with love and relationships,” Diddy shared with Playboy magazine, according to Express. “I’ve had therapy about my relationship with Kim [Porter], about my relationship with Jennifer. Therapy helped me through a lot of those situations.”
The producer of Bad Boy Records is still embroiled in legal issues, but fresh information from a 2007 interview with Essence has surfaced.
Diddy acknowledged in the interview that he dated JLo for reasons other than attracting Kim Porter, the mother of his four children.

Diddy referred to Lopez as his "perfect match," but it appears that despite his belief that he was completely matched with Porter, his unresolved feelings for him were difficult to go past. "I thought, 'I'll give it a try, and perhaps Kim will realize how much I'm into her and want her too.'"
The Atlas actress, meantime, is well aware of the rumors circulating about her last turbulent and emotionally taxing two-year romance, a source told Radar Online.
Although there isn't any proof linking her to Diddy's alleged transgressions, Jennifer is conscious of the increasing interest and has been avoiding answering any questions about it.
