The Japanese PM met PM Modi on the first day at Hyderabad House in Delhi. During this, many issues were discussed between the two. After this, both participated in the 14th India-Japan Annual Summit.
In the conference, PM Modi said that the PM of Japan is our old friend. This is Fumio Kishida's first visit to India after becoming the Prime Minister of Japan and meeting PM Modi for the first time.
Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that Prime Minister Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida also discussed Ukraine issue in today's meeting. The two countries discussed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and humanitarian crisis which also stressed on its peaceful solution.
