Janhvi Kapoor Pays Tribute to Sridevi with Regal Tarun Tahiliani Ensemble at Cannes 2025

Tribute to Sridevi: Janhvi Kapoor made sure to make one heck of a debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The actress was seen dressed in a signature blush pink three-piece ethnic ensemble from the shelves of the designer, Tarun Tahiliani for the much-awaited appearance.

The French Riviera was taken by storm with her royal-core couture vibes served fresh on the red carpet that was all things blushed satins and white mother-of-pearl chic.

According to fashion page Diet Sabya, Janhvi was channeling her mother’s iconic elegance, a sentiment echoed by fans on social media who commented, “It’s giving Sridevi” and “reminded me of Sridevi.”

According to fashion watchdog Diet Sabya, Janhvi’s look was a “channeling of mother Sri for her first Cannes red carpet lewk,” celebrating Sridevi’s legacy of wearing traditional Indian silhouettes with modern flair.

Janhvi walked the red carpet On May 20, ahead of the premiere of her film Homebound, dressed in a graceful, rose-hued ensemble designed by Tarun Tahiliani.

According to Diet Sabya, Janhvi honoured her mother Sridevi through her attire which came with Indian touch. The post on their handle read “Janhvi channeling mother Sri for first Cannes red carpet Lewk”.
