Jammu Kashmir News : Blast in two buses within 8 hours, security agencies engaged in investigation

An explosion occurred in a passenger bus parked near a petrol pump at Domel Chowk in Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir at around 10.30 pm. Two people were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the district hospital. Police and other agencies reached the spot. No passenger was present in the bus when the blast took place, otherwise a major incident would have happened. There was a loud explosion in an empty bus parked at a petrol pump in Udhampur. Police sources said that six buses, including a mini bus, were parked at the Baigra petrol pump in TCP Domel area on the old highway in Udhampur. Bus conductor Sunil Singh and mini bus conductor Vijay Kumar were injured in the blast incident, who were rushed to the hospital.

The blast was so strong that tremors were felt even in buildings in the surrounding residential areas. Senior officers of police, army and CRPF reached the spot and investigated. It is being told that the bus conductor Sunil Singh, who was injured in the blast, has shrapnel on his back. Sunil told that two pieces from the bus of Kathua route were kept on the roof of the bus of Basantgarh route. He himself covered the goods with tarpaulin and went to sleep in the bus. Shortly after that there was a loud explosion.
