Jammu and Kashmir News : Terrorists shot and killed another Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian
Kashmir has been witnessing continuous target killing since October last year. Many of the victims are migrant workers or Kashmiri Pandits. In October last year, seven people were killed in five days. These included a Kashmiri Pandit, a Sikh and two migrant Hindus.

Since then there is an atmosphere of panic among Kashmiri Pandits.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, terrorists shot a person named Puran Krishna Bhat in Shopian. The seriously injured Puran Krishna Bhat was taken to Shopian Hospital, however, he died during treatment, officials said. Puran Krishna Bhat was attacked near his residence in Chaudhary Gund area of South Kashmir district. At that time he was going towards a garden.

Another Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by terrorists in an apple orchard in Shopian district on August 16. His brother was also injured in the firing. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar. At the same time, his brother Pintu Kumar was injured in the incident.
