Jammu and Kashmir: Lashkar module busted in Rajouri, 3 including leader arrested
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajouri, Haseeb Mughal said the investigation was launched following the recovery of a sophisticated improvised explosive device (IED) with a timer in the district. After which this module was busted.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a module of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the police, three people of this organization have been arrested, including the leader. According to the police, the arrested people were assigned the task of carrying out blasts in crowded places and targeting vehicles of the security forces.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajouri, Haseeb Mughal said the investigation was launched following the recovery of a sophisticated improvised explosive device (IED) with a timer in the district. After which this module was busted.
Mughal told reporters in Rajouri, “IEDs were smuggled from across the border to explode in crowded public places and target vehicles and camps of security forces. The arrest of three people, including the leader of Lashkar, has prevented the nefarious plans of terrorist operators from succeeding.
