Jammu and Kashmir: Cooker IED recovered in Shopian, plot to attack security forces foiled
The district police has handed over the documents related to the incident to the NIA. The police have arrested two terrorists involved in the blasts.

The security forces on Friday foiled the plot of terrorists to carry out a major incident with the IED blast in South Kashmir's Shopian district. Police said that the Cooker IED was recovered by the security forces in Imam Sahib area. Shopian Police and 44 Rashtriya Rifles got this success during the search operation. Police has registered a case and started investigation.
The investigation into the Udhampur bus blasts has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The district police has handed over the documents related to the incident to the NIA. The police have arrested two terrorists involved in the blasts.
On September 29, there were two blasts at Udhampur's old bus stand and Domel Chowk. The blasts were carried out with sticky bombs. The police had arrested two terrorists on 1 October who carried out these blasts at the behest of Pakistani handlers to influence Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Jammu. Till now the Udhampur police was probing the matter.
