Jammu and Kashmir Blast : One killed, 14 injured in Udhampur blast
There has been a suspicious explosion at Salathia Chowk in Udhampur city today i.e. on Wednesday afternoon. Due to its grip, one has died while 14 have been injured. They have been immediately admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. As soon as the information about the explosion was received, top police officers, army officers and jawans also reached the spot and started investigation.

Suspected explosion took place at Salathia Chowk in Udhampur at 12.30 pm on Wednesday. The explosion took place near the vegetable stall and a person present there has died due to its grip. However, he has not been identified yet. 14 others were also injured in the suspected explosion. One of them is in critical condition. All the injured have been admitted to Udhampur district hospital for treatment. On hearing the sound of the explosion, immediately the top police officers and jawans also reached the spot and started investigating the incident.
Udhampur SSP Dr Vinod has also reached the spot. Apart from this, army officers and jawans have immediately cordoned off the spot. Army personnel have reached the spot with the dog squad. The FSL team has collected samples of the blast from the spot. However, all the information is being gathered about how the blast happened.
