Jaish-e-Mohammed's Pakistani terrorist killed in Shopian encounter

Continuing their campaign against terrorism in Kashmir, security forces today killed a foreign terrorist belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed during an encounter in Shopian. The slain terrorist has been identified as Kamran Bhai alias Anees. Confirming the death of Pakistan terrorist Kamran, ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that he was very active in Kulgam-Shopian.
According to the information received from the police, after the information about the sighting of terrorists in Khabran area of District Shopian, the security forces cordoned off the area and started searching for the terrorists. There were reports of sighting of one to two terrorists in the area. Seeing the security forces coming close to him, terrorist Kamran, hiding in a house, started firing. Before retaliatory firing, the security forces gave him a chance to lay down his arms, but when he did not agree, the terrorist was killed during the encounter that lasted for a while.
After his death, when the security forces took the body in their possession, he was identified as a Pakistani terrorist Kamran. ADGP Vijay Kumar said that Kamran has been involved in many murders. He was active in Kulgam and Shopian for a long time. The killing of Kamran is a big success for the security forces fighting the war against terrorism in Kashmir. He congratulated the security forces for this. Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the encounter site.
