Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before ED, questioned in Sukesh Chandrasekhar case

Jacqueline Fernandez was spotted outside the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office on Monday. According to news agency ANI, the actress had appeared before the ED to record her statement in connection with the extortion case of Rs 200 crore of Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The 36-year-old actress has been questioned by the agency two-three times in the money laundering case. At the same time, her statement is being recorded after his alleged friendship with Chandrashekhar came to the fore.

Thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been accused of extorting Rs 200 crore. In the investigation of the case, it was revealed that Sukesh had given expensive gifts to Jacqueline. After which the ED, taking action against him, has also attached his assets worth Rs 7 crore.

It was also revealed in the chargesheet that Pinky Irani, an aide of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, had made Sukesh meet Jacqueline and Sukesh Chandrashekhar had delivered expensive gifts and cash to Jacqueline with the help of Pinky Irani.

The ED chartsheet also revealed that Sukesh Chandrashekhar tried to contact Jacqueline Fernandez during December 2020 to January 2021, but the actress did not respond to his calls. The actress alleged that someone from a government office had approached her and asked her to contact Sukesh Chandrashekhar, whom she knew as Shekhar Ratna Vela.

Jacqueline Fernandez told the agency that she had received a limited edition perfume , wean alkaline water bottles every week. Flowers every other day, chocolates from different places. Three designer bags from Gucci, Chanel, two Gucci gym wear, Louis Vuitton shoes, two diamond earrings, two multi-colour stone bracelets and a Hermes bracelet were found. Apart from this, three cats of nine lakh each and Arabian horse were also given, which cost 52 lakh rupees.
