IT raids on Pushpraj: Akhilesh said - spreading hate, the finance minister said - scared

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said that when these agencies conduct raids, they go with actionable intelligence. To say that the wrong person has been raided raises questions about the agency's professionalism.

Nirmala Sitharaman said in a press conference after the GST Council meeting, "How did the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh come to know that it is BJP's money? Is he a partner? Is he scared."She further said that the raids that took place on Piyush Jain's premises and now Pushpraj Jain's on Friday are based on specific inputs. "Did they come empty handed? Politicizing such things is condemnable."

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP has raided its own businessman by mistake. Akhilesh said, 'By mistake, BJP raided its own businessman. Raid on Piyush Jain instead of SP leader Pushpraj Jain.Pushpraj Jain is the MLC of SP who has launched Samajwadi perfume.
