Shri Sanjay Arora, IPS, and WorthyCommissioner of Police, Delhi visited the North East District earlier today. During his visit, Arora reviewed the crime situation and aided in formulating strategies to counter crime and criminals accused, interacted with the district Police Officers, and also facilitated the Police Personnel with exemplary performances. Shri Dependra Pathak, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Law & Order (Zone-I) and Shri Vikramjit Singh, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Eastern Range remained present during the visit/meeting.
According to Sanjay Kumar Sain, as scheduled on the 11th of August, Shri Sanjay Arora, IPS, Worthy Commissioner of Police, Delhi visited the North-East district to review the policing of the district and interact with district police officers. Shri Dependra Pathak, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Law & Order (Zone-I), and Shri Vikramjit Singh, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Eastern Range remained present during the meeting.
The undersigned along with Addl. DCCP welcomed Mr. Arora, and the Guard of Honour was presented to Worthy CP, Delhi by ‘Ceremonial Guards’ and ‘Delhi Police Band.’ Thereafter, he, Delhi, interacted with District police officers in the Conference Hall, DCP Office Complex.
The undersigned presented a PowerPoint presentation about district policing, Crime Overview, Challenges & Strategies to curb crime, success achieved till now, and a road map for the future to contain crimes and the accused.
Afterward, the flagship Community policing initiative “Ummeed” under the banner of Nagrik Bhai Chara Samiti which is centric on making a harmonious society and bridging the gap between different communities was also part of the PowerPoint presentation. In addition, an overview of Welfare Measures adopted to motivate police personnel and other aspects of policing were also presented. Arora applauded the efforts put up by district police in the containment of crime and re-establishing communal harmony in such a crime-prone and communal-sensitive district.
He further guided the district police officers to adopt a more comprehensive approach to provide a safe and secure environment to the denizens and towards the end, the performers of the district, who have done remarkable good works by showing discipline, professionalism, and commitment to their assigned jobs were felicitated. The list includes, W/SI Reena, SI Akhil Chaudhary, SI Nitin, SI Sanjay Tyagi, SI Pawan Kumar, ASI Rajdeep Tyagi, HC Pavit, HC Azad, HC Jaiveer, HC Rahish, HC Ashok, HC Rohit Palsaniya, HC Manish Yadav, HC Parmender, HC Sunil Kumar, HC Arun Kumar, HC Sachin Rana, HC Shailender, Const. Chand Ram, Const. Kalik Tomar, Const. Dharam Pal and Const. Rohit Kumar. These police personnel have done exceptionally well in prevention and detection of crime in their respective police stations and units.
