IPL 2023 Auction: Pacer Shivam Mavi of UP Becomes the most expensive uncapped player
Young Indian pacer Shivam Mavi has bagged a Rs 6 crore contract in the 2023 IPL auction after being bought by Gujarat Titans.

England all-rounder Sam Curran has become the costliest player sold in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. The 24-year-old Karan was bought by the Punjab Kings for Rs 18.50 crore in the ongoing IPL mini-auction in Kochi. Earlier he was on the team of Chennai.
Another record was created in IPL auction history. Nicholas Pooran of the West Indies is the most expensive wicketkeeper so far. He was bought by Hyderabad for 16 crores. Earlier, the highest-paid wicketkeeper was Mumbai's Ishan Kishan (15.25 crores). Bowling all-rounders got the highest bid. These all-rounders collected 59 crores in 30 minutes.
10 IPL franchises had Rs 206.5 crore. Out of 87 players, 32 players have been bought so far. 132.05 crore has been spent in this. Of these, 14 were foreigners. 55 more players will be sold. Out of which 16 will be foreigners. 33 players went unsold.
