Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan to Visit White House After Trump Calls for His Resignation
Lip-Bu Tan might also suggest the path Intel can collaborate with the government of the US during the meeting with Donald Trump, the report stated.

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan will find his way to the white house on Monday, a few days after US President Donald Trump demanded his resignation on the grounds of connection to chine companies as per a report.
As it was reported by the Wall Street Journal quoting the people who are informed about the development, Tan will probably sit down with Donald Trump and have a long conversation as he seeks to clarify his personal and professional background.
Livemint was not able to confirm the report alone. Intel and the White House have not made any statement so far.

The meeting with Donald Trump also provided another opportunity with Lip-Bu Tan being able to suggest the ways in which Intel could collaborate with the US government, the report revealed.
As per the report, Tan hopes to gain Trump approval by proving his proximity to America as well as ensuring that the value of maintaining the manufacturing capabilities of Intel is a national security concern.
Trump calls on Intel chief to step down
Last week, Donald Trump demanded that Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan resigns, claiming that he was a highly conflicted person, since issues regarding his interest in Chinese companies emerged in the open.
“The CEO of INTEL is highly CONFLICTED and must resign, immediately. There is no other solution to this problem. Thank you for your attention to this problem,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
This requirement by the US President followed closely a letter sent by the Senator Tim Cotton to the Intel corporation, where he inquired whether the firm had ties with companies based in China.
In 2008Lip-Bu Tan became the CEO of Cadence Design; under his leadership, the chip design software company sold products to a Chinese university in the military that was suspected of simulating nuclear explosions.

Intel chief executive reacts
Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan claims that he has consistently been running within the precinct of the utmost laws and ethics following the advice of President Donald Trump to quit.
Tan added Intel was communicating with the Trump administration as well.
“We are engaging with the Administration to address the matters that have been raised and ensure they have the facts,” Tan said. “I fully share the President’s commitment to advancing US national and economic security, I appreciate his leadership to advance these priorities, and I’m proud to lead a company that is so central to these goals.”
