Infosys hires 6,000 freshers, targets 50,000 new hires in FY2023

Infosys hired around 6,000 freshers in the third quarter of 2022-23. At the beginning of FY2023, the company had set a target of 50,000 fresher hiring, of which 40,000 were hired in the first half of the year. The company's chief financial officer Nilanjan Roy said the company would meet its annual hiring target during this year. We have not revised the hiring target. We are constantly hiring. He added that the company has a large pool of fresher engineers who are being skilled in Mysore. We are training them.
