Infosys and Microsoft Strengthen Collaboration to Drive GenAI and Azure Cloud Adoption
Infosys Ltd. announced an expanded strategic partnership with Microsoft on October 9 to accelerate global adoption of generative AI (Gen AI) and Microsoft’s Azure cloud.

Infosys and Microsoft Strengthen Collaboration: Infosys Ltd. announced an expanded strategic partnership with Microsoft on October 9 to accelerate global adoption of generative AI (Gen AI) and Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
Through this partnership, Infosys and Microsoft will help their joint customers get more out of their existing technology investments and digitally transform at scale.

This partnership builds on Infosys’ early adoption of GitHub Copilot, Microsoft’s AI powered coding tool which has helped Infosys boost coding efficiencies. Over 18,000 Infosys developers have used GitHub Copilot and generated over 7 million lines of code.
Also, Infosys was named a strategic supplier to support cloud and AI workloads for Microsoft’s enterprise customers. Infosys will infuse Microsoft’s generative AI suite of offerings across its Solution IP portfolio to bring new capabilities to market and help clients with cost, scale and agility.
With Microsoft’s technology and Infosys’ own industry leading AI and cloud suite of offerings – Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt and Infosys Aster – the partnership will help customers and drive global enterprise AI adoption.
Some of these will be available on Azure Marketplace so customers can use their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC).

In financial services, Infosys’ domain expertise with Finacle along with Microsoft’s capabilities will help financial institutions engage, innovate, operate and transform better.
For healthcare, Infosys Helix — a next-gen healthcare payer platform built on Microsoft Azure — uses AI/ML automation to improve patient outcomes, access to care, constituent experience and streamline processes and reduce costs.
Supply chain will see process automation and agility through TradeEdge and Azure OpenAI service. Telecommunications will see enhanced connectivity and customer experience through Microsoft GenAI and Infosys Live Operations.
Customer service will see Infosys Cortex, an AI driven customer engagement platform, combine Microsoft GenAI and Copilot to deliver specialized and personalized copilot assistance to every member of a customer service organization.

Infosys Ltd shares ended at ₹1,953.90, up by ₹5.40, or 0.28%, on the BSE.
