Influencer Mansi Suravase Slaps Man for Inappropriate Touch During Video Shoot; Incident Goes Viral

Incident Goes Viral: There had been a case of online harassment between a woman and a fellow in an apartment building. A woman is seen in a viral video making a reel in her apartment building. She was rolling when she saw a fellow guy on his way upstairs, so she had to stop in her tracks to let him pass. As soon she stops and takes a step sideways, he touches her arm going upstairs. This makes her angry, and she turns back to lash out at him.

The woman who happened to be an influencer, was doing clips on her phone and was in the act of recording when the incident happened. Mansi is the name by which this woman popularly known posted the video of the harassment on her social media profile. She let the video recording on even while she was disturbed by the man; she then shared the incident on her social media account, Instagram, saying that she “was randomly recording snap” in her own building, where she lives. She then accused the man of misbehaving with her as he touched her while on his way upstairs.

Also, since the incident happened while Mansi was making a video, she recorded the incident for evidence against the accused man. Further, when she showed the proof of harassment to the family of the man, it was taken lightly and instead said that their son had some mental imbalance. Then she scolded him by saying "if he had some mental problem, he would not be able to do anything with anyone," dismissing the claims made by the man's parents. She further rebuked the mother saying that the boy did not seem to have had any mental problem.

She even remarked that it was because society judged girls by their clothes. Even if society-influenced minds had perceived her to be in improper clothes at the time of incident, she was not wearing them. “Shame on this typ of ppl.! Shame on society jo kpdo ko leke judge krti hai. I am 10000% sure even if I would have worn a saree or kurta this would have happened.”

The video soon reached so many people, with many viewers commenting on the proliferation of people's support for the girl's claim. Many slayed that kind of behavior from men.
