Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in an election rally in Uttar Pradesh that it is due to India's rising strength that we are able to safely evacuate our nationals stuck in Ukraine.

He said that the government is making all efforts to evacuate people who are stuck there. While addressing a public rally in Robertsganj in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi said, “It is due to India's rising strength that we are able to safely evacuate our nationals stuck in Ukraine, for which we are running Operation Ganga.”
He added, “We are making all efforts to evacuate people stuck in Ukraine under Operation Ganga. Thousands of citizens were brought back to India. To accelerate this mission, India has sent its four ministers there, will leave no stone unturned for the safe passage of Indians,”
PM Modi criticized those people who questioned the valour of armed forces and 'Make in India'. He said that such people can't make the country strong.
The government is operating special flights under Operation Ganga which are evacuating students from Bucharest and Budapest in Romania and Hungry, the two bordering countries of Ukraine.
Besides, Air India, other private airlines such as Air India Express, IndiGo, SpiceJet and the Indian Air Force have now joined the operations and it is expected that the pace of evacuation will speed up now.
