India’s Champions Trophy Matches May Move to Dubai Under ICC’s Hybrid Model

India has given its decision that India won't travel to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy event scheduled to be hosted by Pakistan. Given the situation, India's matches might be relocated to Dubai or Sri Lanka under a proposed hybrid model. This setting of the tournament will replicate the phenomenons of the 2023 Asia Cup when India's matches were held in Sri Lanka while other participating nations competed in Pakistan.

Discussing this model could be held in upcoming upcoming ICC annual conference to be held in Colombo from July 19 to 22
The Champions Trophy is an important event that includes the top 8 teams on the board of ICC. It will be a shame if India misses it but the concern regarding the safety of the team is stopping the Indian government from sending its players across the border.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Has shown Its disregard for the ICC’s Hybrid Model but has shown flexibility by proposing to shift all India matches to Lahore to minimize the travel of India. However, the final decision lies in the hands of the Indian Government and ICC will ICC accept the Indiam decision, or will be participating in this ICC Champions trophy?
If we sum up the situation Indian Government is proposing a Hybrid Model under the impression that BCCI is for player security concerns and PCB wants to conduct the whole tournament in Pakistan. If ICC accepts the BCCI proposal it's most likely that Pakitan will have a bad impression through it and if it doesn't then India most likely won't be part of this tournament.
