Indian squad for ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 and tri-series in South Africa announced

The All India Women's Selection Committee has announced India's squad for the tri-series starting in January in South Africa and the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023. Harmanpreet will lead the team. At the same time, Pooja Vastrakar's inclusion in the team will depend on her fitness. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 will begin on 10 February 2023. Team India will begin their campaign against Pakistan on February 12 in Cape Town. Team India is in Group 2 along with England, West Indies, Pakistan and Ireland. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals. The final will be held in Cape Town on 26 February 2023.

Before the T20 World Cup, Team India will play T20 tri-series which will start from 19 January 2023. Apart from India, South Africa and West Indies teams are included in this. India's first match will be from South Africa.

First match on 19 January 2023 - between India women's team and South Africa women's team. Second match will be on 21 January 2023 - between South Africa and West Indies women's team. Third match will be on 23 January 2023 - between India and West Indies. Fourth match on 25 January 2023 - between South Africa and West Indies. Fifth match on 28 January 2023 - between South Africa and India. Sixth match on 30 January 2023 - between West Indies and India.The final match will be played on 2 February 2023. All the matches will have been played in London.
