Indian Railways extends Covid Guidelines : Fine for not wearing masks Rs 500
The railways will impose fines of up to five hundred rupees on those who do not wear face masks on its premises, the railway council quoted on Thursday, extending the practice that began visible from the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the order issued by the board, the penalty was presupposed to be in place until September however has currently been extended for an additional six months.
According to an order issued by the government on April 17 , the railway board had informed the zones to make sure that everybody is wearing face masks or face covers but now it had imposed fines upto Rs 500 under the Indian Railways( Penalties for Activities Affecting Cleanliness at Railway Premises) Rules, 2012 on those found without such masks.
The authorised railway officials will impose the penalty . The Railway Board's order issued on Thursday quoted as " Now, the matter has been reviewed and it has now been decided that the validity of the said instruction is further extended by six (6) months i.e. up to 16.04.2022 or till further instructions issued in this regard,"
