Indian Government jet for Mehul Choksi flies out to an unspecified destination
Choksi, who was born in India and possesses Antigua and Barbuda citizenship, vanished on May 23rd but was apprehended by Dominican police three days later on suspicion of unlawfully entering the island, which is about 100 nautical miles distant.

On Friday, sources have claimed that the private plane India sent to Dominica with paperwork related to the deportation of fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi last week flew out of the island around 8:10 p.m. local time on Thursday.
Choksi, who is sought in the multibillion-dollar Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case, is being held under police guard at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital.
According to media reports, it has not been revealed whether Indian officials have also boarded the trip, nor has the plane's destination been divulged.
Last week, Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne said that Qatar Executive's Bombardier Global 5000 business jet arrived at Dominica's Douglas Charles airport on May 29th.
Browne reportedly said on a radio interview in his nation that Choksi may have departed Antigua and took a boat trip to Dominic for dinner or a "good time" with his partner.
Choksi, who was born in India and possesses Antigua and Barbuda citizenship, vanished on May 23rd but was apprehended by Dominican police three days later on suspicion of unlawfully entering the island, which is about 100 nautical miles distant.
A Dominica court rejected Choksi's bail on Thursday and put him in police detention for two weeks on allegations of unlawfully entering the island country. A habeas corpus case filed by Choksi's attorneys and the government of Antigua, where the 62-year-old lived three years as a citizen before going missing, was also deferred by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
Choksi is facing two distinct legal cases in Dominica, the government's claim that the businessman entered the country unlawfully is being heard in a magistrate's court in the Dominican capital Roseau. Choksi's attorneys have also filed a petition with the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, saying that he was kidnapped and requesting that he be returned to Antigua.
