Indian Actor Aamir Khan tests Covid19 positive

The Covid19 virus has found its latest prey in the famous Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan who has been confirmed to have tested positive. The many bigwigs of Bollywood have recently been mobbed by Covid19 such as Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Tara Sutaria among many others.

Aamir Khan’s Spokesperson confirmed, “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

Khan who is currently working on the Forrest Gump remake, ‘Laal Singh Chandha’ alongside Kareen Kapoor Khan was last seen at the screening of the movie ‘Koi Jaane Na’, where he interacted with the Papparazzi and clarified his leaving social media, "Do not put your theories about that. Main apni dhunki mein rehta hoon (I live in my own world). I am anyway not active on social media, I don't post anything,"

The news of Aamir Khan testing positive comes as the rate of coronavirus cases in India continues to climb rapidly. In the last 24 hoursMaharashtra, the state with the most cases,verified 24,645 positive cases, with a spike of 30,535 new cases. Some 3,000 additional cases were found alone in the city of Mumbai, where Aamir Khan lives.

The State government of Maharashtra has taken strict stand on the increasing number of cases, it has banned all Holi celebrations, with the BMC prohibiting all private (inside housing societies) and public Holi celebrations.
