India won the title for the seventh time, beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the Women's Asia Cup

Renuka Singh Thakur proved to be the most impressive from India's side and took 3 wickets for 5 runs in 3 overs. Earlier, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur had said on the eve of the final, "It (Asia Cup) is a platform where you can test your limits, what kind of cricket do you want to play and that's what we did in this tournament."

India won the title for the seventh time, beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the Women's Asia Cup

India won the title for the 7th time after defeating Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the final of the Women's Asia Cup 2022. In the final match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first, but this decision proved to be absolutely wrong and the team could score only 65 runs.

For India, Smriti Mandhana played an unbeaten innings of 51 runs and gave India victory.
