India won the title and made a clean sweep of Sri Lanka 3-0

The last match of the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka was played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. In this match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 146 for 5 in 20 overs on the back of captain Dasun Shanaka's unbeaten 74 and set India a target of 147 runs.

India in reply scored 148 for 4 in 16.5 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. Shreyas Iyer was adjudged the 'Player of the Match' for his brilliant innings as well as the 'Player of the Series' for his outstanding performance in this series.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India cleaned three teams in three consecutive series. Apart from this, the Indian team did wonders to win 12 T20 International matches in a row and equalized Afghanistan and Romania. Both these teams have also won 12-12 T20 matches in a row.
