India sends 3 tonnes of Medicines Aid to Afghanistan
After the supply of 3.6 tonnes of medicines and 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Afghanistan, India once again sent 3 tonnes of Medicines as fourth tranche of aid to Afghanistan. This has been done to cope with the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan which has been accentuated by winters.

After the supply of 3.6 tonnes of medicines and 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Afghanistan, India once again sent 3 tonnes of Medicines as fourth tranche of aid to Afghanistan. This has been done to cope with the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan which has been accentuated by winters.
The supplies were made to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health in Kabul, as per the Ministry of External Affairs. The Ministry added, “In the coming weeks, we would be supplying more batches of humanitarian assistance consisting of medicines and food grains for the people of Afghanistan.”
The External Affairs Ministry released a statement which read, “ India stands committed to continue our special relationship with the people of Afghanistan and provide humanitarian assistance. In this endeavour, we had already supplied three shipments of medical assistance, consisting of 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine and essential life-saving medicines to Afghanistan.”
