India in UNSC: America brought resolution against Russia in UN, India again made distance

Western countries including America have become more irritated with Russia. Because Russia has conducted a referendum to annex 4 areas of Ukraine and merge it into its own country. In the midst of this outrage, America had brought a resolution against Russia in the United Nations Security Council 'UNSC'. India once again did not vote on this resolution. Apart from our country, 4 other countries also kept distance from voting. 10 countries voted in favor of the resolution, but Russia vetoed the proposal.

The President of Russia, regardless of the threats and actions of the countries of the world, took Ukraine into his country by conducting a referendum in the occupied territories. America and Western countries were infuriated by this move of Putin. But Putin has bypassed all international rules by taking these steps regardless.

On the decision of Vladimir Putin, America brought a resolution against Russia in the United Nations Security Council. Albania was also involved in this proposal along with America. This proposal got the support of 10 countries. At the same time, India, China, Brazil and Gabon kept their distance from this proposal and did not vote. However, in the end Russia rejected the proposal, using its veto power. Because Russia is one of the five permanent UN countries. According to the rules of the UN, if any resolution is brought by any one of these five permanent power countries, then that proposal is rejected.

Russia occupied 4 areas of Ukraine, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson, after a long war. After this, recently Russia has merged them in its country. Russia has also threatened Western countries that if it now tries to attack these areas, Russia will respond with full force.
