India dismisses China's objection to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's visit to Arunachal Pradesh
In a statement released on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi "rejected" the comments made by China and said, "We have taken note of the comments made today by the official Chinese spokesman. We reject such comments.

Amid reports of China People's Liberation Army (PLA) transgressions in Arunachal Pradesh, India rejected China's objection to a recent visit to the state by Vice President Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, asserting that the state was an "integral and inalienable" part of India.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi "rejected" the comments made by China and said, "We have taken note of the comments made today by the official Chinese spokesman. We reject such comments.
"Arunachal Pradesh is an integral and inalienable a part of Asian nation. Indian leaders habitually jaunt the state of Arunachal Pradesh as they are doing to the other state of India. Objecting to the visit of Indian leaders to a state of India doesn't stand to reason and understanding of the Indian people," he said.
China had earlier discharged an announcement opposing Venkaiah Naidu' visit to Arunachal Pradesh. "China doesn't recognise the supposed Arunachal Pradesh lawlessly set by Asian nation and firmly opposes the recent visit of India' Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu to the area," Chinese Foreign Ministry proponent Zhao Lijian said. Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu was in Arunachal Pradesh over the weekend as a part of his tour to the northeastern states of India.
