India and Vostok 2022: India rejects Russia's offer for Japan's sake, Vostok will not participate in 2022

After the air force exercises of many anti-China countries including India in Australia, now Russia and China are going to conduct naval exercises named Vostok 2022 in the Sea of Japan. Russia had also invited India for this exercise, but New Delhi did not. In such a situation, questions are being raised as to why New Delhi has avoided this exercise despite India-Russia friendship.

The warships of the navies of Russia and China will begin an exercise named Vostok 2022 in the Sea of Japan. It is believed that both the countries are going to show strength through this military exercise amid tensions with America and Japan. In view of this strategy of Russia and China, India has distanced itself from this exercise. Significantly, Japan has opposed this practice. Earlier, India had accepted Russia's invitation for the Vostok 2022 multilateral military exercise.

Between Ukraine war and Taiwan tensions, Russia and China, along with many other countries, are going to conduct a naval exercise named Vostok 2022 from September 1 to 7 in the Sea of Japan. Russia had also invited India for this exercise, but the Modi government has refused to participate in this exercise. The special thing is that the naval exercise is going to be held near Japan. These days, Japan's tensions are going on with both Russia and China. It is being told that India has refused this naval exercise in view of the sensitivity of its relationship with its close friend Japan.

Japan had also forbidden Russia for this military exercise, but Russia has rejected its request. Along with Russia, China and other countries, Japan will demonstrate its power in the Sea. Accepting the request of Japan, India has withdrawn from this military exercise. Russia, China, Syria, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Laos are participating in this military exercise.

India has decided to take part in military exercises, balancing with Russia, but has made a clear distance from its naval exercises. Let us tell you that Japan is a close ally of India and is a member country of Quad. Japan is investing heavily in India. India did not criticize Russia for the Ukraine war despite pressure from the US and Western countries. Meanwhile, tensions have increased between China and Japan over Taiwan. Japan is going to deploy its cruise missiles near the border with China.
