RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that we can do all this only by following religion, hence the Dharma Chakra is in the center of the flag. Understanding these things, we should work hard. We should not think about what I will get. We need to live our life only by considering what I am giving to my country.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the tricolor at the organization's headquarters in Nagpur on Monday on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. After this the national anthem was sung at the RSS headquarters. During this, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat told the importance of the tricolor. He said that the top color of the national flag is called saffron color which is the color of sacrifice, action, light and knowledge. We will become pure, our mind will not suffer from vices, so the second color is white. The green color of all kinds of prosperity is a symbol of Lakshmi ji.

The RSS had changed the picture of its social media profile photo on the appeal of Prime Minister Modi and had put the photo of the tricolor on it. On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday unfurled the national flag and addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort in New Delhi. Earlier he was given a guard of honour.
Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, people are actively participating in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which started on Saturday 13th August, will continue till Monday 15th August. Under this campaign, every Indian has been appealed to be a part of it, as well as an appeal has been made to Indians to hoist the national flag in their homes. The Union Culture Ministry said the program aims to make the association with the national flag more personal rather than keeping it formal or institutionalized.
